Curlers are eligible to play in Five and Under Nationals and associated competitions if they have 5 or fewer years of experience in curling. The definition of a year of experience in curling will be updated to the following: 15 or more games between June 1 and May 31 of the following year.

The World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2026 is an open entry event for Member Associations who have not yet qualified for the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. This will qualify teams for the taking place in Lohja, Finland from 4–10 January 2027
